Jeffrey S. Levy, LCSW, GAL, received his MSW from University of New England and BS from the University of Maine. Jeff has been operating his private practice since 2001, and he has been serving the Maine courts as a Guardian ad Litem since 2006 working with children of separated families, and with children in State care as a (Court Appointed Special Advocate) CASA Volunteer. Jeff is an adoption social worker, serving as the Director of the Maine branch for China Adoption With Love. Jeff is an instructor for the Kid’s First Program providing separating parents guidance in working collaboratively for their children’s best interest, he is a former facility member of the Sweetser Training Institute. Jeff is also certified as a Collaborative Divorce Coach and he provides a supervision group that offers guidance for clinician’s who are dealing with very challenging conflicted families.
Jeff has developed this workshop instructing therapists on how to work with highly conflicted separated families and has taught it at multiple locations throughout Maine since 2011. Jeff has presented his Therapeutic Model at the (Association of Family and Conciliation Courts) AFCC National Conference in Washington DC in June 2018. Jeff previously served as the director of Camp Waban, a camp providing programming for adults and children with special needs, and was an emergency crisis worker at Crisis Response Services of York County.

Katharina is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Maine, and received her master’s degree in counseling from the University of Southern Maine. She offers counseling for individuals (children, adolescents, and adults), and couples.
Her training included bereavement counseling (at Hospice of Southern Maine), psychotherapy (at the Employee Assistance Program at LLBean/Freeport), and therapy for children/ adolescents. She has worked as registered nurse, in Germany, and holds a Diploma in Pastoral Care/Religious Pedagogy from Germany. Areas of clinical interest include: anxiety, depression, mood disorders, life transitions, chronic diseases, relationship/family struggles, losses, trauma, PTSD, and grief. Her therapy integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, strength-based therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Attachment‑based therapy, Psycho-dynamic Therapy, and for children play/sand tray therapy with solution-focus.
Her philosophy of counseling and therapy is based on integration of various modalities in order to provide treatment options that are appropriate for each individual’s needs and strengths to promote healing, growth, and resilience.
